Judging Criteria

Pitch + Pitch Deck (1 - 20 with 20 being the max) 

How did the overall presentation look, feel, and flow? Is everything clear? Did they describe their team members’ skill sets and that they are the ones who can solve the problem?

Problem Diagnosis (1 - 25 with 25 being the max) 

Did they properly define the user, their problem, and why it is occurring? How painful is this problem to the user? Did they use supporting facts? Do they show a deep understanding of the user’s/customer's problem?

Value Proposition & Solution’s Vision (1 - 20 with 20 being the max) 

Did they have a compelling message as to why they are different and worth using for the user? Does the product “completely heals, not temporarily does away with” pain? How innovative is the vision? Did it wow you? Did they describe the type of technology? Does their vision for growth have the company solving a large piece of the global problem in 10 years?

Live Demo (1 - 10 with 10 being the max) 

Did the team present a demo? Is the Value Proposition clear/does the demo highlight the solution(s) to their problem statement? Is the overall messaging clear? Are the graphics and imagery aligned with the brand and GTM Strategy? Can the team speak about what technical components/platforms are necessary to finish their product?

Go to Market Strategy, Traction, & Scale (1 - 15 with 15 being the max) What is the plan to get the first 100 users/customers to love them? 

Do they understand any regulatory hurdles to entering the market and have a strategy to overcome them? Who are the top competitors? Did they provide evidence from potential customers that the solution solves key pain points? Did they show other types of customers/users that experience the problem?

Revenue Model + Ask (1 - 10 with 10 being the max) 

Does the revenue model and price make sense? Can they point to pricing and business models of similar products in the industry?
